I am not sure if the trees as the borders of the picture are too much brown for green monochromatic, but I felt they helped to shape the field.
Complementary
I found it hard to find things that had complementary colors that occurred natural. I know I could have posed something but I wanted it to look natural.
This fountain is down the street from my house. I saw it as in the first picture and thought it would be a good subject for this project.
The fountain photos are so cool! What a great subject to photograph. I really like the three different lightings you captured!
ReplyDeleteThese shots are sweet! The different light assignment is one of the best I have seen. Not only are the shots very well composed, but the color and the light are spot on as well. Even with the fountain centered in every photo, it still works because of the dramatic lighting and the prominence of the shapes around it. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI love the fountain photos. The first fountain photo is crazy cool! I love how you captured the water because of the light in the background. The second fountain photo almost looks fake! The amount of beautiful color and reflection in the pool is incredible!
ReplyDeleteI really like the pictures of the fountain. That fountain is a great work of art in itself. Its cool to see the lighting effects in and around the fountain as you took the pictures throughout different times in the day. The red chairs on the green grass was also a pretty clever example of your complementary color scheme.

ReplyDeleteI like the fountain and how you got it to show the water cascading in the first photo! The fountain photos are so pretty! I like the second chair photo though and that it shows the rock tower in the background. Good contrast!
